An unforeseen journey

The idiosyncratic ideals are buried within the human brain,
Heaved away from the obscurities of this convoluted world.
With mixed emotions of trepidation and thrill,
We encounter the next phase of life.
On the precipice of change, we must sustain
Though the climax of our lives is soon to be unfurled.
Bound to take a leap of faith, ambiguity casts a chill.
When the past converges with the future, we confront strife.
Arriving at this pivotal crossroad, we must choose our individual domain.
The mind cluttered with apprehension and confidence swirled.
The decision is ultimately ours to fulfill.
Our unforeseen journey is never as straight as a honed knife.
