Poetry with a Pulse

NU Magazine - April, 2012

Words smooth as lotion
Provoke emotion
Too potent to be spoken
That’s why my
Notebook sheets are soaked
And pen’s broken
The ink is blood from my body
Flows through my heart
Can you feel the
Pulse on the paper dart?
Beating, One day it’ll finish
It’s OK to let the heart stop
As long as the love doesn’t diminish.
