The holidays Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur have recently passed and for me, the holidays were different than they were any other year. This year, I am an only child.
Ever since seventh grade I longed for the day I would get my braces off. Sure, over the almost three years of having them, I got used to them, but still, in the back of my mind, I always wanted my orthodontist to tell me he was taking them off that very minute.
How was the transition? Difficult? Easy? I’m curious to know.
That is the question I hear from every parent I meet from the Hebrew Academy of Morris County.
