How cool is this? jInternship has a database of 234 (at last count) Israel-based internships for college students and recent grads.
I wanna do that!
These are no puff jobs, either. Some of the internship titles: Simulations assistant at a medical device company, optometry intern, and PHP development for a communications hi-tech company (what does PHP development mean?). Two-month summer internships and four-month semester-long internships are available.
There is a cost, which covers flights, room and board, and matching services. I don’t know if any of the hiring companies pay a stipend or salary.
In addition, according to their site: “jInternship offers inspiring and empowering classes on Judaism presented by the world’s premier Jewish educators. Your resume will show a unique international internship while your memories will recall wonderful steps forward in your personal growth through Jewish learning.”
Sounds like a great opportunity for any college student looking for a way to see Israel and further their educational and career goals.

If my son is high school student and we will be in Israel this summer, is there any internship for him or jobs he can do for the summer. If so please let me know how to contact them and who?
Thank you
Pnina
Hi, Pnina, thanks for reading. It looks like jInternship starts in college, but try this link http://www.jinternship.com/contact to reach them.
For other programs, try contacting your local Jewish Federation.
